Established in 2015, the Community Foundation of Orangevale and Fair Oaks is committed to improving the lives of its residents. We are excited to launch the OV-FO Community Grants program which will allow nonprofits to apply for grant funding which will improve the wellbeing of people living in Fair Oaks and Orangevale. Programs focused on impacting youth of our community are prioritized.
In order to be considered for funding, an organization must be designated as a non-profit, or tax exempt, and conduct programs within our geographical funding area. The applicant should also be current on all reports due to the Foundation for any previous grants.
The Foundation provides project and operating support. The Foundation will consider one request per organization each grant cycle. Grant requests may not exceed $500. Applicants will be required to submit a report at the end of the funding term explaining how funds were used. This report is due six months from the date your grant was approved.
We accept grant applications quarterly. Deadlines for submitting online applications are February 15, May 15, August 15, and November 15. Please feel free to contact us with questions at grants@cf-ovfo.org.
